Cleaning up around the Egg!Last year our friends from Marcucci & Company cut up the tree that fell on the Egg. Partnering once again with Friends of Wissahickon, we are going back this year to do more work on trails and landing areas.

Things to know:

• Please bring whatever food or drink you need for the day. We will have a water refill station and some light snacks to grab.
• Wear clothes that can get dirty and sturdy closed-toe shoes. Feel free to bring your own glove but we will have some to borrow. We may be doing overhead work so feel free to bring a helmet or hardhat but we have those too!
• We will provide all tools and trail equipment.

Meeting Location: We will be meeting at the Rex Ave Bridge. Look for EPAC folks or FOW staff.

Parking: There is parking at various access points. The parking at the Rex Ave Trailhead is limited. If you park on nearby streets then please be sure you are parking legally. There are also parking lots on W Bells Mill Rd but the walk is longer. You can consult the FOW map page to figure out the best route.

Egg Location: If you need find us then here is a location pin. But, basically, follow the orange trail west from Rex Ave Bridge and listen for chainsaws!
