Philly Bouldering

About The Area

The Philadelphia area has many small climbing areas dispersed throughout the city. The biggest site is Wissahickon Valley Park which is home to Livezey Rock, Revolutionary Ridge, and the 100 Steps Boulders.  You can also find sites strewn throughout the city at Kelly Drive, Cobbs Creek, and Penny Pack Park to name a few. The majority of it is bouldering with a few roped options sprinkled in.

  • Please follow any direction given by land managers regarding parking and land use. This may vary from site to site within the city.
  • While you will find “Buildering”, the act of climbing on buildings, listed online.  This can be considered trespassing and/or destruction of property and should not done without the building owners expressed consent.

EPAC has established a relationship with Philadelphia Parks and Recreation as well as the Friends of the Wissahickon. We look forward to partnering with them on events throughout the city.
