ACCESS

ALAPOCAS RUN STATE PARK:

  • Climbing is available but a FREE permit is required. You can find all the information HERE.
  • The bridge to the closest parking area is currently closed and hoping to be replaced in Spring 2025. Until then, please follow recommendations from State Park maps. DO NOT park at the Friends School or on neighborhood roads without permission or designated public parking.

ROCKFORD STATE PARK:

  • Climbing is neither permitted nor prohibited at the time. Once the trails have been improved then the park service will evaluate official designation.
  • Landings on the upper tier of boulders are hazardous due to grade of slope.

EPAC is currently working with Delaware State Parks on improving trails and expanding access. Please reach out if you want to help.
