Access Fund’s annual Climbing Advocacy Conference is the leading climbing advocacy and conservation gathering in the U.S., offering workshops and panels focused on protecting access to climbing areas. Each year, local climbing organizations, nonprofits, land managers, landowners, climbing gyms, land trusts, and many more convene to learn about protecting our beloved crags.

This year marks Access Fund’s 30th birthday, and the conference will offer a look back at some of the greatest lessons our community has learned in protecting climbing access and explore the challenges ahead.

The 2021 Climbing Advocacy Conference will be entirely virtual again this year. This platform allows us to host sessions and create a learning experience that you can attend from your house or the crag.

Registrants can look forward to:

• Recognition of our 2020 Climbing Advocate Award recipients.
• A virtual roundtable to introduce participant organizations and missions.
• Panels and workshops on stewardship, working with land managers, land acquisitions, LCO development, JEDI programming, rebolting, low-impact climbing awareness, and much more.
