Haycock Mountain

About The Area

Haycock mountain is one of the premier bouldering areas in the state. Haycock hosts over 850 established boulder problems, and there is plenty more room for future development. We’ve barely scratched the surface in some areas, and fully expect to find amazing new boulders out in wild parts of the mountain.

The rock at Haycock is diabase. Bouldering here can be a humbling experience at first, but it’s well worth the effort. Haycock has classic problems from V0 through V14. There’s something for everyone, and enough to keep you busy for quite a while!

EPAC is honored to carry on the work HBC started to keep the mountain clean and accessible. Check back for upcoming work days.
